Jocelyn Wood, MD

Dr. Wood has joined our practice recently with experience in Family Practice along with many years of experience in Urgent Care and Telemedicine.  She earned her Doctor of Medicine Degree (MD) from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio (1994).  Dr. Wood completed her internship in Columbus, Ohio and her residency in New Orleans, Louisiana (2001).  During her third year, she served as Chief Resident of the Ochsner Family Practice Residency Program. She was a primary care doctor and Medical Director of a community healthcare clinic in New Orleans after her residency.  Her undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science (1988) from the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio.  Dr. Wood is board certified in Urgent Care Medicine. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Wood is also a Certified Medical Examiner and a Medical Review Officer.
