Family Healthcare receives funding each year from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to help provide healthcare services for low-income residents of Washington County. As part of HHS, the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is charged with monitoring the performance of community health centers that receive federal funding. Operational Site Visits are conducted by a team of three consultants, each assigned to a specific area of review (administration/governance, fiscal, clinical), based on their expertise. These consultants assess the health center’s compliance with the 19 requirements/standards that HRSA has identified in the areas of Need, Services, Management/Finance, and Governance. Family Healthcare recently underwent an intensive three-day review, and we are happy to announce that we passed all 19 requirements!
