Biography

Camille Canlas is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and Post-Master’s Certificate in Nursing Education from Johns Hopkins University (2023). She is a Certified Asthma Educator and Nurse Educator. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Mountain State University in Martinsburg, WV (2011), her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Our Lady of Fatima University in the Philippines (2006), and her Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines (2003). She has worked in primary care, acute care, and long-term care settings.

Staff are happy to help you apply for the Sliding Fee Program; this program is based on household income and can cover costs related to care at the Center. We can also connect you to area agencies that provide enrollment assistance for insurance through Maryland Health Connection and Medicaid. Need other kinds of assistance like housing, transportation, or clothing? If so, ask to speak with one of our Outreach Workers!
