Biography

Gerry has spent several years working for many community mental health and addiction agencies. Gerry began his mental health career working in a PHP program, then transitioning to admissions. Along his travels he continued his education, becoming a Professional Counselor in 2005. Since that time Gerry has worked as a Clinician, Clinical Supervisor, and Chief Operating Officer for other programs. Gerry is excited to begin his next chapter as Behavioral Health Director with Family Healthcare of Hagerstown. Gerry loves the fact that Family Healthcare of Hagerstown offers mental health, primary care, a lab, pharmacy, among other specialties.

Staff are happy to help you apply for the Sliding Fee Program; this program is based on household income and can cover costs related to care at the Center. We can also connect you to area agencies that provide enrollment assistance for insurance through Maryland Health Connection and Medicaid. Need other kinds of assistance like housing, transportation, or clothing? If so, ask to speak with one of our Outreach Workers!
